Product Description

Low density polyethylene, also known as high pressure polyethylene, often abbreviated as LDPE.Milky white, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, glossy surface waxy particles.Density 0.91g/cm3-0.93g/cm3, is the lightest variety of polyethylene resin.It has good flexibility, extensibility, electrical insulation, transparency, easy processing and certain air permeability.Its chemical stability is good, alkali resistance, resistance to general organic solvents.

Both LDPE and LLDPE have good rheological or melt fluidity.LLDPE has less shear sensitivity because of its narrow molecular weight distribution and short branched chain.LLDPE retains greater viscosity during shearing (e.g. extrusion) and is therefore more difficult to process than LDPE with the same melt index.In extrusion, the lower shear sensitivity of LLDPE results in faster stress relaxation of the polymer molecular chain, and the resulting physical properties are less sensitive to changes in blowing ratio
